We hear the following phrase countless times:
The Philoptochos Society is the right arm of the Orthodox Church!

Philoptochos is "An army of women whose collective drive, dedication and heart help those who need it most."
~Archbishop Demetrios of America

If you are a woman and a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthdoox Church, you are automatically a worthy member of Philoptochos.

The dynamic women who have been involved in our Philoptochos at St. Demetrios have accomplished so much. As the challenges increase, the goals have been expanded, and your participation and support is more important than ever! It is known that there is an untapped talented group of women in our parish whose specific knowledge, relationships, or experiences would be an asset to enhance Philoptochos' ability to accomplish its mission to "give hope to the hopeless and make a difference in people's lives."

It is our hope that by encouraging our membership base to include woman of all ages in our parish, our St. Demetrios Philoptochos will experience greater community support. Please stop right now and fill out the membership form and become a member of Philoptochos.

Remember, we don't just serve coffee on Sundays!
