Father Andrew Lentz

Fr. Andrew Lentz
Father Andrew is a very proud Clevelander!
His parents, Theodore and Susan Lentz raised him in
their inner city home along with his younger sister,
Sarah. After graduating from St. Ignatius High School
in 2001, Fr. Andrew began his undergraduate studies at
Loyola University in Chicago, and then transferred and
graduated from The George Washington University with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2005.
Fr. Andrew went on to St. Vladimir’s seminary to begin
his Master of Divinity studies, and then transferred to
Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology where he met
his wife, Presvytera Lorena. As a student immigrant from
Albania, she graduated Valedictorian in 2008 from Hellenic
College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and
Leadership. She currently works in asset-liability
management for PNC Bank. Fr. Andrew and Pres. Lorena were
married in 2010. Fr. Andrew graduated with distinction in
2009.

Divine Liturgy
As a seminary graduate, Fr. Andrew accepted his first
position as a youth director and pastoral assistant at Sts.
Constantine and Helen Church in Reading, PA. On October 6,
2012, he became the first to be ordained by the newly
installed Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh. He was
ordained a deacon at Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral
in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and later a priest at
Annunciation Church in Akron, Ohio on December 23, 2012.
Fr. Andrew was assigned to St. Demetrios effective
January 1, 2019. He and Presvytera Lorena have
two adorable sons, Theodore and Lazaros.
